According to some fresh reports Overdrive, Tata Motors is rigorously working on three new products to be launched in the next nine months (by May 2013). Needless to say, the most exciting seems to be the Tata Nano diesel plonked with a 3-cylinder diesel engine, touted to be the smallest diesel engine in India.

The second offering from the company’s port-folio is the Tata Safari Strome which was displayed earlier this-year at 2012 Auto Expo held at New Delhi.  The Safari Strome looks pretty similar to the existing model though the different side claddings are give aways of the new car. Styling changes to the rear include a new tail gate with the spare wheel now mounted under the body. A thick horizontal strip above the repositioned number plate is a noteworthy detail here. Dual chrome tipped exhausts complete the rear redesign.

However, the third car in Tata’s port-folio remains mystery, but bridging the gap in between the Nano and Indica to take on the likes of Hyundai Eon and Maruti Alto. So, most probably it would be an 800cc car by Tata Motors. Therefore, we doubt this clueless product with no detail might be the Tata Dolphin which was the news since a long time from now.

Talking about the Tata Dolphin, it is predicted to be 800cc model from Tata available in both fuel option, petrol and diesel with a expected price of Rs. 2.25 lakh. With the launching of this car Tata motors is trying to fill the space in its product portfolio to compete with other small cars like Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon. Moreover, with the growing demand for small cars in India and owing to India’s middle class population, there is no doubt that Tata Motors will be looking to stamp its authority in the Indian market with this new car.

There is also a growing demand for small cars like that Tata Dolphin from rural and semi-urban areas of India where strong robust and durable brands are in vogue. Tata and Maruti are strong contenders of these rural and semi-urban markets. These markets account for nearly 50 percent of total sales in India and here is where Tata Motors want seriously to place a Maruti Alto rival, i.e. the Tata Dolphin.

DSK Motowheels-Hyosung, the Indian wing of the popular Korean bike maker, has launched two new bikes to expand their portfolio in the country, the 2013 Aquila GV650 PRO cruiser and revamped GT650R sports bike at very competitive prices of Rs. 4.99 lakh and Rs, 4.79 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings have been commenced with immediate effect across the country on DSK-Hyosung dealerships.   2013 Hyosung Aquila GV650 PRO cruiser bike - The Aquila GV650 Pro is the second cruiser bike in India after the ST7, and with the introduction of Aquila GV650 in India the Aquila moniker has made a re-entry in India. This cruiser sits above the ST7 and features a more powerful engine. The cruiser Aquila Pro (650cc) will be available in three colour variants - Lava Red, Phantam Silver & Shadow Black. Under the skin, it comes powered by a 647cc V-twin engine that is very similar to that of the Suzuki SV650. And this is the same engine that also powers the GT650R. The V-twin has a peak power output of 74hp@9000 RPM while peak torque is rated at 62.1Nm. The bike has a top speed of 195kmph. The unique thing about the GV650 is its styling which isn’t retro like the ST7 but takes on a more masculine, almost V-Rod-ish sort of look and it is easily one of the best looking cruisers on-sale in India. It gives exceptional stability and balance - and is designed for highly comfortable cruising. The most striking feature is the sporty style of the cruiser which dazzles with an abundance of chrome.   2013 Hyosung GT650R sports bike - The 2013 version of the GT650R is just a small refresh from its predecessor, because the company feels that the similarity of the design between the GT650R and the GT250R has been one of the reasons why 650 buyers are not getting the exclusivity the more expensive motorcycle commands. Thus, the company has decided to give it a slight makeover. In terms of engine specifications – its completely the same bike, the additions have been more on the custom design end with a new front design, new headlight, new body graphics, revised instrument cluster, suspension and engine tweaks, the 2013 GT650R looks sharper than the outgoing model. The motorcycle does look fitter up front but the visual mass at the rear is unchanged. The 2013 edition of Hyosung GT650R will be available in 3 color variants - Titanium White, Titanium Red and Titanium Black. Powered by a 647 cc, V-twin engine, two-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid cooled, eight-valve, DOHC engine and mated to a six-speed transmission. The maximum power produced by this motor is 72.68 hp @ 9000 rpm and peak torque is 60.9 Nm @ 7500 rpm. The fuel tank capacity of Hyosung GT650R is 17 litres.   The company will also be launching a 250cc single cylinder motorcycle towards the end of 2013.   Check out more pictures below the jump.   Also see - Hyosung GV 650 Cruiser scheduled to launch on 16th January in India
