The latest rumor in the automobile industry is that Tata Motors plans to push the Bolt hatchback exclusive for taxi market.
With just 17,000 units sold ever since its launch, the Bolt’s sales figure doesn’t come as satisfying. Previously the Bolt was rumored to be discontinued due to very low demand. Later the reports emerged that Tata Motors has dropped the plan of launching the sportier version of the Bolt hatchback.
Now the unconfirmed report states that the car maker plans to sell the Bolt exclusive for taxi-cab market, the Tata’s seems to playing its last card to cash some more money out of the Bolt nameplate.
