Renault India has added the top end Diesel variant of Renault Fluence D Segment sedan in India. During the official launch of Renault Fluence in May 2011, Renault launched Diesel variant with E2 Trim and Petrol variant with E4 trim. The E2 Diesel had lower feature sets and only manual transmission option in India while the petrol E4 came with fully loaded features and automatic transmission. Now the E4 diesel Fluence trim mirrors the features list of the E4 petrol variant. Now, there are quite a few exciting new features in the diesel variant, which the consumers can look forward to. The dual zone automatic climate control is included, which is a must-have in all the latest upmarket sedans. One of the most advanced safety measures, the cruise control, automatic light sensing headlamps and rain sensing wipers are a part of the upgrade. On the interior end the car now gets a beige shade and leather upholstery, rear sun-blinds, USB and Bluetooth equipped audio system, dual zone climate control and rear AC ducts. However, the upgraded E4 diesel is only available with a manual transmission.
