SsangYong Tivoli is scheduled to make its debut at Korea in January-2015, while it will make its way to the UK and other global markets sometime in the 2nd quarter of 2015. The Tivoli will be the most affordable product from the Mahindra-owned automaker and could be priced under £12,000 (INR 11,87,529) for the base model.

The Tivoli is based on the two concepts – XIV Air and XIV Adventure which were revealed at the Paris Motor Show earlier this year. It is the Korean carmakers first offering to showcase the brand’s new “Nature born – 3 Motion” design language. Specifications and details haven’t been revealed, but reports suggest that the Tivoli will be offered with 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines.

The company is tight lipped on if the Tivoli will be on-sale in India. The compact SUV crosses the 4-metre length mark, competing with the likes of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and yet to be launched Hyundai ix25.
