Thanks to our friends at Indianautosblog for having published a latest set of spy shots of the upcoming Tata Indica XL. The car was heavily camouflaged on rear and looked like it was on one of its scheduled test runs in the city.
After launching several variants in Indica platform like Indigo, Indigo Marina, Indigo XL and Indigo CS. Now the company is creating a new segment XL in hatchback era, earlier they created CS (Compact sedan) segment. The company overcomes with new creative thinking with their decade old design ‘Indica’.
Under the hood, Tata Indica XL might get the 1.4-liter CR4 engine that delivers not less than 25kmpl. Tata might not leave out alternate fuel options like CNG and LPG as these cars are run very frequently.
Indianautosblog refers to the car as the Tata Indica XL, but it’s unlikely that name will be found on the boot lid of the car when it settles down at your nearest Tata Motors dealership.
