Skoda announced that it would be launching a new logo on its Fabia internationally and well it has begun testing the cars with new logos in India. The cars with the new logo have started reaching dealerships and shall soon make way to the roads as well. Today we have for you the spyshots of a Skoda Fabia doing rounds with the new badging adorning the car.
If you see closely in the spyshots, the car is sporting the new logos and badges that Skoda announced would be present on the cars. You would be wondering as to why are we telling you about the new badging. The point is that the latest logos represent the ambitions of the company and the growth that company would achieve by 2018.
Well folks you can see ‘Skoda’ will be put individually on the back of the car which you can see on the left side of the test car. As of now, it came integrated in the Skoda logo. The ‘Fabia’ font gets a change and looks a lot more vibrant than the current font. The latest logo will make its way on to the front, rear and steering of the car. The letters which signify a petrol or diesel variant which are ‘HTP’ and TDI’ will come in a newer font too.
Now that we have a test mule on the roads, we expect an official confirmation from Skoda as well in a few days. But we doubt if they’ll launch it again officially. If they launch it, they’ll need to have a couple tid bits more than just new badging. Possibly an interior refresh we believe should be the least they could do for the car which does not bring in a lot of volumes. But yes, we wish them all the luck with the fresher approach.
