Spied – New Volkswagen Polo facelift

New Volkswagen Polo facelift

Volkswagen Polo was launched in 2010 in India and since then Polo has been a decent seller for the company with its solid build quality, good driving dynamics and high quality interiors being major selling points of the car. However, over the last few months, the Polo’s sales have slumped by a large margin. Now the company is planning to give its Polo hatch a mid-cycle refresh, until the next generation model is launched in 2014.

According to our sources, the updated Polo is expected to hit our market very soon before this festive season. And changes to the Volkswagen Polo will include black inserts on its headlamps, new music system head-unit with USB and Bluetooth connectivity and set on new alloys. The Polo Highline will get steering mounted audio controls as well. Volkswagen will also bring an automatic gearbox in the Polo petrol, details of which are still not known.

Also we can expect the Skoda to follow up with similar changes to the Fabia.
