While the Mahindra Xylo did very well in Indian market, Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to launch shortened version of Xylo called Mini Xylo. Mini Xylo will below 4 meters in length. While other companies focusing to launch their compact SUVs and MPVs in India how can the very own Indian utility vehicle maker, Mahindra & Mahindra be left behind.
The Mini Xylo will be powered by 1.5 litre diesel engine. The vehicle will have 5 seater arrangements. The third row will be eliminated and will be using the Xylo’s body on frame chassis. According to Smashing wheels Mini Xylo is constantly undergoing development tests for some time and recently Smashing Wheels caught this car being tested. The Mini Xylo was heavily camouflaged, the silhouette of the car can be well related to the Xylo. Though exterior design features can’t be very clearly identified, but we believe the styling is going to almost similar to the current Xylo. It is predicted that Mini Xylo will surely get some sales volumes based on its practicality and affordable pricing.
