Spied – Ford Fiesta Classic

Ford Fiesta Classic

Anything-on-wheels.com has spied the Fiesta Classic, a stripped down version of Fiesta which will be soon launched in the Indian auto industry in order to fill the gap left behind by Ford Ikon. The car was spied bear Bangalore.

Though there is only a single spy image and that too from the rear, it is difficult to see if there are any major upgrades/downgrades made by Ford. The dimensions will be retained and the mirrors, body plastics and door handles will be black.

The interior will be devoid of luxury features to bring down the cost. Certain components from the Figo might find their way on to the Fiesta improving the localization percentage, driving the cost further down.

Ford Fiesta Classic spiedFord has found out a smart way to bridge that gap. Before the launch of the new Fiesta, the existing Fiesta would be repositioned in the lower segment and they have decided to call it as Fiesta Classic. As this car will cost less than Fiesta, we expect a host of features missing from the Fiesta Classic. Anything less would affect the Figo and anything more could affect the New Fiesta. . Ford will also make the car available in both petrol and diesel engine variants. Rumors suggest Ford is trying to take the growing taxi industry in India once they launch the Fiesta classic.
