Spied – Honda Brio in Noida expressway

Honda Brio

Honda’s Brio hatchback has been caught testing in Noida expressway (quite close to the Honda factory) many times, but these are the closest pictures so far. Thanks to Carwale/AutoBild for clicking the snap of this test vehicle. The Brio is a very important hatchback for Honda India, so company has been extensively testing the car.

While the fender bonnet and sides have been masked with black tape, one can easily see the basic shape. The test car features a steel wheels and plastic wheel covers. The Brio bears very aggressive styling with a tipped-forward stance. The design echoes Honda’s typical modern skinning including flared wheel arches.

The car will come with an 1198cc four-cylinder engine, the same motor that powers the larger Jazz. From the pictures I posted earlier the cars interiors feel well made. The chunky steering is nice to hold, the hooded dials look attractive, and the plastic quality is good.

The Brio is slated to be launched later this year or at the 2012 Auto Expo. The Brio, likely to be priced at around Rs. 4.5 lakh, will target the recently launched Toyota Liva.
