Rumor – Bajaj to replace Avenger engine with new Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS engine

There have been rumors wondering in the internet saying Avenger engine might be replaced with Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS engine, though it’s just a speculation nothing is official yet. We have to wait and watch if the company responds to this rumor or leak. Bajaj Auto is one of the biggest names producing two-wheeler automobiles segment in India. Bajaj Avenger is a cruiser bike model in the fleet of Bajaj bikes. This bike from Bajaj was designed for long drive lovers. This bike was designed to give maximum comfort to the driver and the pillion as well. Bajaj Avenger is fitted with 220 cc engine. This is 4-stroke engine, air cooled with oil cooler. The engine fitted in avenger is of DTS-i technology.

The term DTS-i refers to digital twin spark ignition, for giving better performance. This bike has forward foot riding posture for the driver, which would give the driver a relaxed posture for strain free driving experience. The height of Avenger is low compared to the other models of Bajaj bikes. Though the saddle of this bike is low, but it’s wide seating provide comfortable seating for driver and pillion as well which is suitable for driving long distances.

Avenger is fitted with special back rest for pillion comfort, and with low ground clearance this bike will provide better road grip. Avenger comes with stylish indicators and also is very convenient to use. This bike is fitted with low battery indicator, cautioning the driver when battery is running low. Safety of the driver and pillion is given the highest priority, they have ensured the safety with better breaking and provided with 260 mm disc in the front wheel and 130 mm drum on the rear wheel. Avenger has a wheel base of 1475 mm and has a kerb weight of 154.5 kilos.
