Renault India steps-up with Pulse Voyage Edition
A month after launching the Duster Anniversary Edition, Renault India has launched a special edition Pulse hatchback called the Voyage Edition. The Pulse Voyage Edition will come only in the diesel version and to make the deal sweeter still, the company has announced that the Pulse Voyage also gets free insurance for two years, a two-year extended warranty and roadside assistance for four years.
On the outside, the car looks similar to the regular Pulse. There are no changes to the exterior, it is its interiors that sport infotainment, safety and navigation updates which include a touch screen multimedia system which alternates as a navigation system and FOCAL speakers for improved audio performance. While all this features will carry a retail price of Rs 58,000 over the price of the Pulse, Renault is offering customers the same for only Rs 6,000 resulting in savings to the tune of INR 52,000. Apart from this, the buyers will get an exchange benefits upto Rs 40,000 across all the Pulse variants.
Refresher – Renault Pulse is offered with two different engines and fuel options. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine producing 75bhp and 104Nm of torque. This petrol engine will return you a mileage of around 13kmpl in city and 15-16kmpl on highways. While the diesel variant is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine producing 64bhp and 160Nm of torque. The diesel engines is more fuel efficient and expect it to give a fuel efficiency of around 15kmpl in city conditions and on highways it will give you around 18-19kmpl. Both engines are mated with 5-speed manual gearbox.
