Photo Rendering – What the current Mahindra Verito could look like being ‘Compact’

Mahindra Verito Compact - FrontView

There has been a lot of spy images of the Mahindra Verito floating on the net from some time and there are already talks about how the car will look especially with its boot chopped-off. Recently some images of the Verito were seen on Wheelosphere.org which shows how the real car might like. The launch of the Verito CS is been planned in this year and these images do mean that the car is very near to its official launch.

The images give a better picture of the car; although there are not many changes in the front, the rear has gone through a major change keeping in line with the new excise duty norms. The important change done at the rear includes a slant tail lamp connecting the roof and the boot. The power house of the Verito hatchback or Compact Sedan (CS) will be the existing 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine although it’s not very clear if the Verito CS will be available in petrol engine option.

After the announcement of new excise duty norms a lot of car manufactures like Tata and Maruti have redesigned their cars in order to take the advantage of the sub-4-meter tax cut. Mahindra has high hopes in terms of sales with the new Verito CS considering that the Verito sedan was really not a very big hit among the private owners.
