The Japanese automaker has launched a special edition of the X-Trail in India, to commemorate the launch of the X-Treme Trail documentary reality show on the National Geographic channel. The Nissan X-treme Trail limited edition is priced at Rs. 22.78 lakhs for the LE variant (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This special edition features the addition of 10 new features including rear spoiler, door visor set, touch screen navigation system, X-treme Trail decals to name a few. Other than the Special Edition, the X-Trail is available in three variants – LE, SLX MT and SLX AT. The Nissan X-Trail features disc brakes all around along with hydraulic power assist brakes. With ABS, EBD and brake assist system, the X-Trail has very sharp brakes. The 65-liter tank ensure that you never go out of fuel on trails, while the independent struts at the front and multi-link rear suspension ensures a smooth ride over the worst of roads. Some of the key features of the X-Trail include all round airbags (6), ESP, All mode 4×4, leather seats, bi-Xenon headlamps and cruise control. There will be no changes under the hood and the X-trail special edition will be fitted with additional features. The Nissan X-Trail continues is powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, diesel engine that produces 150 BHP of power at 4000 RPM and 320 Nm of torque at 2000 RPM mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox option. “We would like to mark this programme by launching an X-treme Trail Limited Edition of Nissan X-trail, which will enhance the driving experience for anyone who enjoys the SUV experience”, Mr Dinesh Jain, CEO Hover Automotive India said.
