Nissan Terrano – 3rd row seats
Nissan Terrano which was today launched in India, while the new Nissan SUV matches in features with other SUVs in its segment but lacks a 7-seater option. Thus, to avail this feature the company has added the twin-jump seat to the third row and customers can avail the same as an optional accessory for Terrano at Nissan dealer’s accessories zone.
This twin-jump seat can be installed in the third row and can be folded down when not in use especially when excess space is required in the luggage compartment and while travelling with fewer passengers. However it must be noted that this third row of jump seats does not offer a very comfortable ride. While it isn’t a full-sized seat and are strictly for kids.
Buyers in India want value for money and are very conscious of what they get. Demand are high for additional space and extra seating and hence Nissan has to bend over backwards to comply with customer’s demands. Not to forget that Terrano’s cousin Renault Duster too features the twin-jump seats as an optional accessory.
Nissan Terrano – Electrical
Other accessories include two fabric covers, four faux leather covers and one beige leather cover. Cushions, seat belt pads, neck pillows, carpet mats, rear window curtains, side window curtains and steering wheel covers are also available. Furthermore, the car can be speced with a reverse parking sensor with an integrated display on the rear view mirror. However, it comes as standard on the 110PS XV trim and above.
In Terrano, you can also add steering-mounted audio controls although not incorporated into the steering wheel, Nissan offers it as a strap-on remote that attaches itself to the steering wheel. There are also parts like wing mirrors that have turn signals incorporated and illuminated door sills as extras.
Nissan Terrano is offered in petrol engine of 104 PS and diesel engine of 85 PS and 110 PS with prices ranging from Rs.9.58 lakh to Rs.12.44 lakh (prices mentioned are of ex-showroom, Chennai).
