Nissan India is reportedly planning to launch an AMT version of the Terrano by this year’s festive season. The AMT unit is similar to the EasyR transmission offered in the Renault Duster AMT.
Powertain lineup on the Terrano include 2 engine options: a 1.6-litre petrol that develops 103 BHP and a 1.5-litre diesel that is offered in two states of tune – 84 BHP and 110 BHP. Similar to the configuration of the Duster, the Terrano AMT too is expected to be offered with the 109 BHP diesel trim. As seen in the new Duster, we expect the 110 BHP variant of the Terrano get the AMT transmission.
No other cosmetic changes will be seen on the AMT-equipped Terrano, although the interiors might get new upholstery. Other features include a touchscreen music system with navigation, and automatic climate control.
