Nissan India is offering a whooping discount on the Micra CVT petrol cars with a benefits upto Rs 50,000. The price is slashed as the company has increased localization levels.
It was priced Rs 6.53 lakh earlier, now the Micra XL CVT is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the most affordable premium CVT automatic hatchback in the market. The top-spec was priced Rs 7.19 lakh, now the locally-produced costs about Rs 6.73 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), thereby making it cheaper by Rs 46,000.
The Micra XL CVT features Nissan’s X-TRONIC CVT automatic transmission that claims to offer higher fuel efficiency than a manual transmission. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3 cylinder engine that produces 75 bhp @ 6000 RPM and 104 Nm @ 4000 RPM. It claims to deliver a fuel efficiency of 19.34 KMPL (as per ARAI).
