RENDERED: Audi’s next-gen A4 is lighter, faster & more luxurious than ever

Auto-Moto, a French-publication has just released the renderings of the front, back and dashboard of the cutting edge next-generation 2016 Audi A4. Set to be uncovered at the Frankfurt Motor Show (which happens in the second week of September 2015) not long from now, Audi’s one of the most popular cars will experience an enormous change.

In view of another MLB Evo platform, the new A4 is expected to be lighter by 100 kg. On account of this weight sparing, Audi is accounted for to offer the sedan with a 1.4-liter TFSI motor with COD (Cylinder on Demand) or a 1.6-liter TDI diesel motor. We can expect it to get a 2.0-litrer TFSI motor and a 2.0-liter diesel motor in the country.

A completely revamped front with a new pair of headlights with a kink which is unconventional yet eye-catching grab your attention instantly. It gets Audi’s most recent chrome-flanked single-frame grille. Over to the back, the A4 in these renderings dons a full grown appearance with its split tail-light and A3 Sedan-like incorporated boot-lip spoiler.

The interiors are expected to be stepped-up too. The car is expected to get touch-controlled MMI system, a Virtual Cockpit for the instrument bunch and a top of the line surround sound system. The 9-speed automatic gear-lever seems to be shared with the Audi Q7.

It will be assembled at the Aurangabad facility in the country as it is expected to come to us via the CKD route.
