We know Bajaj’s flagship model Pulsar 375 is speculated to hit Indian showrooms before the end of 2013. Now we got the latest spy pictures that reveal a lot of details as compared to the older pictures that were leaked earlier this year. It does seem that the bike is still in its development stage but nearing completion and very soon a test mule could be seen testing.

Earlier this-week, we had reported the confirmation of the Pulsar 375 by trusted media house AutoCarIndia (ACI). The renderings of the frontal portion had also broken cover, but yes, it was a teaser! Now the folks at ACI have disclosed the full-picture of Pulsar 375 without a single piece of camouflage spotted at an unknown location.

As compared to the previous spy pictures, the new pictures reveal the rear and tail section of the bike for the first time. Sharp and angular line care carried till the rear section. But the tail lamp, which is not visible, is likely to have an LED unit. No exhaust on either side probably means that the Pulsar 375 will sport a stubby underbelly exhaust unit.

Other features seen include the typical Pulsar aircraft type fuel lid, a similar cowl around the instrument panel and tank design that has a hint of that of the 200NS. The turn indicator seems to be taken from the KTM Duke parts bin and also the tyres seen on the Pulsar 375 are Metzeler ones that is likely to be seen on the soon to be launched KTM Duke 390.

Under the skin, the Pulsar 375 will feature a single cylinder 373cc engine, liquid cooled, fuel-injected engine, which will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is expected to deliver a hefty 40bhp of the peak power with the peak torque of 30Nm. It will deliver outstanding performance, enhanced acceleration and a top speed upwards of 160 kmph.

Alloy wheels, telescopic fork front suspension and monoshock at the rear are evident from spy pictures as are its steel and multi spar frame, petal type disc brakes and steel swingarm at the rear. Retaining the Pulsar value for money scheme, we are expecting this new Pulsar 375 to be priced somewhere around Rs. 2 lakh.
