Honda plans 7 more scooter models, updated Aviator and Activa-i

Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) 2-wheeler giant is planning to add 7 new scooters to its portfolio in this calendar year, alongside the company unveiled two new 2015 editions of its scooter brands Aviator and Activa-i. The new variants will be on-sale across all Honda dealerships by the end of this month.

Along with these new launches and announcement, the company also introduced its new brand association with Taapsee Pannu, one of the most recognizable faces of South Indian cinema and a youth Icon in Bollywood.

 
2015 Honda Aviator:

The 2015 Aviator gets the same engine along with a new brown colour for its seat and inner panels, front chrome cover, console cover garnish, stylized halogen powered headlamp, garnished instrumental panel, crystal clear lens, sweeping side indicators, a body-coloured grab rail and a 3D wings emblem. The premium scooter gets an eye catching a new Silver Strand Metallic body colour in addition to three existing shades – Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White and Pearl Ingenious Black.

Under the skin, the premium scooter remains untouched. The 2015 Aviator is priced at Rs 50,863 for the standard variant while the Deluxe variant is priced at Rs 56,209 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

2015 Honda Activa-i:

The new Activa-i just gets floral graphics and paint schemes, which have been designed to appeal to the fairer sex. The Standard variant comes in 4 colors – Black (new), Pearl Amazing White, Autumn Beige Metallic and Alpha Red Metallic. The New Deluxe variant sports trendy floral graphics to woo young female riders and comes in 2 new colours Orchid Purple Metallic and Pearl Amazing White.

Mechanically, nothing has changed. The new Activa-i is available in two variants – Standard variant priced at Rs 46,213 and Deluxe variant at Rs 46,703 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
