More than 190 units VW Passat sold by 30 days

The all-new Passat that went on sale from April 8 this year, met tremendous response from customers with more than 190 units have already been sold in less than a month, the highest number clocked in by the model till date, the company said in a statement. This might not be very impressive for a car, but for the Passat it is a solid number outlining its recovery. This is the car’ report card for the last six months the old Passat (petrol and diesel) had been on sale –

  • October 2010 – 59
  • September 2010 – 107

The Volkswagen brand sold 7,000 vehicles in the month of April 2011 with the Polo and Vento contributing with 6,621 units.

The all-new Passat which went on sale on April 8, 2011 also saw tremendous response from the customers with more than 190 units already sold in less than a month, the highest number clocked in by the model till date.
