More details of Toyota Etios Liva revealed

Toyota Etios

It’s officially confirmed in a press release issued this afternoon, TKM (Toyota Kirloskar Motor) announced the launch of the Etios Liva takes place on the 27th of this month. The Liva’s launch was deferred from April to June due to the heavy demand for the sedan and the Tsunani added more vows to the launch.

“We have delivered more than 20,000 Etios cars as on date. We have successfully reduced the waiting period to less than 1 month by undertaking necessary steps to increase the production. We will launch the car at the most competitive price and like its sedan sibling Etios. It’s an all-new car, offering huge value for money to Indian customers and we look forward to a good response for the Etios Liva” said Toyota Kirloskar Motor Deputy MD (Marketing) Sandeep Singh.

However Toyota after resuming full production is all set to launch the Liva. The company now offers the Etios Liva with a 1.2 litre petrol engine and later with a diesel engine. However, even though the Etios is doing very well with extremely good sales figure, the petrol does not cut the mustard for must. It is thus but natural for the Japanese automaker to consider a diesel motor for the Etios sedan and hatchback. The production of the diesel motor for the Toyota Etios twins is expected to begin by September, with the launch being set for the end of this year. Decent performance and fantastic fuel efficiency will be the forte of the diesel powered Etios.

Now our friends at IAB have revealed the details of the Etios Liva consisting of the specifications and list of features for the four different variants (J, G, V and VX). The top-end model having features such as Dual SRS Airbags, ABS, EBD, Immobilizer, Keyless Entry, steering-mounted audio controls, dual tone interiors, leather wrapped steering wheel, alloy wheels and chrome inserts on the grill and door handles.
