Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Swift SP limited edition for the Indian market. This limited edition will only be based on a base-model ‘L’ variant – LXi (Petrol) and LDi (Diesel), priced at Rs 5.15 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 6.20 lakh for the diesel model respectively, all prices ex-showroom.
The Swift SP limited edition will incorporate features that are otherwise fitted as standard on the higher ‘V’ and ‘Z’ variants, like fog lamps, wheel covers, blacked out A and B-pillars, body-coloured door mirrors, body side mouldings and SP badges. The interior features 4-speaker integrated audio system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, seat and steering covers, a 60:40 split rear seat, SP branded memory foam cushions and all four power windows.
Other features include reverse parking sensors and central locking with keyless entry. The Swift SP limited edition will lure some buyers to the dealerships, especially the customers who are looking for a more features at an affordable price. The dealers have already started taking bookings for Rs 10,000 and deliveries are expected to commence soon, as initial units have already begun arriving at Maruti dealerships across India.
There are reports that the company is offering a discount Rs. 10,630, further, there are offers that will help customers benefit upto Rs 21,000 as well!
