They say where there’s a will, there’s a way. The country does not have a lot of motorable areas and people all over the country have a thing for SUVs. Today we have for you quite an interesting video where, the Mahindra XUV500 is being shipped with the help of a boat to a remote village in Bihar, Raghavpur where the video has been shot.

There’s a village Fatuha also spelled Fatwah or Fatwa, which is opposite to Raghavpur in Bihar (India). There is no direct road connectivity to the main city from the village. So an aspirational person who wanted to buy one went ahead and bought one. But the issue was as to how to get the car to the city. So the owner went ahead, bought one and got it shipped through a small boat to the village.

It was taken down from the boat with the help of a couple of planks. This may have been facilitated with the help of the dealer as well. What this does is that it brings across a marketing lesson for the automobile manufacturers that the purchasing capacity of a person is not dependent on the place’s infrastructure and they should try to cater to rural markets which are not connected to cities.

XUV500 is the best-selling car in its segment and has given the sedans in the Rs 12-15 lakh segment a run for their money. The introduction of the W4 variant and correction of minor technical flaws has given the car’s sales a northward revision. The car is due for a minor facelift this year and the car’s value for money factor has attracted customers all over the nation. In recent times, the pictures of an Lamborghini Aventador and a Ferrari 458 Italia Spider being transported through the same way on the border between Vietnam and China have emerged online.
