Mahindra-Maxximo-Mini-Van-2012

After MPV segment found the strong contender Maruti Suzuki Ertiga a week ago, the MPV segment became much affordable for buyers. Now on competition Mahindra & Mahindra plans to launch its new product on same segment. Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian automobile manufacturers had previously developed the Mahindra Maxximo (light pick up vehicle) to take on the Tata Ace.  Now Mahindra & Mahindra is working on new MPV based on the Maxximo platform.

The platform of  Maxximo already  supports the light pick up truck and a mini van and the MPV will be the third product. More specifications and details about the Maxximo MPV isn’t revealed and guess we will have to wait for days for the exact technical specifications and price details.

Maxximo MPV, from the house of Mahindra & Mahindra is said to go in rivalry against the  Tata Venture passenger van.  Some of the features of the of Venture includes Turbo diesel engine, 475 IDI, Turbo Intercooled diesel Engine, 1405CC, Maximum Power of 71 PS at 4500 rpm and Maximum Torque of 135 Nm at 2500 rpm. To make the Maxximo MPV a more tough competitor against the Venture, Mahindra might bless the vehicle with more features than Venture.

Maxximo had featured enough features, so the  Maxximo MPV will be featuring more features than the  Maxximo.  Mahindra & Mahindra have also inaugurated the Mahindra Research Valley(MRV), a 125 acre research facility on the outskirts of Chennai which has cost them INR 650 crores.
