Mahindra & Mahindra recalls 23,519 units of Scorpio ‘Ex’ variants

India’s largest sports utility vehicle maker, Mahindra & Mahindra has made a recall for the ‘Ex’ variant of its successful Scorpio SUV. The company is recalling all Scorpio Ex variants to fix potential issues with its pressure regulating valves. The total of 23,519 units were affected, manufactured between May 2012 and November 2013.

This recall is limited only to the Scorpio Ex variant manufactured during the above period and does not affect any other Scorpio variants. Respective owners of the Scorpio EX variant will be contacted directly by the company/ authorized dealers and the respective part/s will be inspected and replaced free of charge.

While these recalls are being undertaken, the new Mahindra Scorpio facelift is being actively tested and has been spotted on test on a number of occasions.
