Mahindra Mini Xylo rendered pictures

Mahindra Xylo Mini is perhaps the only car in India that has been spied and tested and is the most talked about car recently. Now thanks to Shoeb R Kalania (IndianAutosBlog) for rendering the images of the Mahindra compact SUV. Looking at the proportions it seems that the Xylo Mini is the true mini avatar of the Xylo biggie that is coming in its new avatar on this 8th. The Xylo Mini is more like a hatch and has highly constrained proportions than its bigger brother.

The five door hatchback Mahindra Mini Xylo is expected to fetch much response as MPV and could also sport SUV characteristics. Since the present big Mahindra Xylo is hoped to get a 4×4 version as part of its facelift on February 8th, the same SUV traits are also hoped to be inherited in the Mini Xylo as well. The Mini version of Xylo by Mahindra is also hoped to have the same seven seater option in it apart from the SUV traits. In case the Mini Xylo gets the SUV characteristics, it will take on the present compact SUV offering Premier Rio as well as the upcoming SUV by Maruti which is the Maruti XA Alpha as well as Ford Ecosport.

The Mini Xylo launch is expected to be scheduled during anytime this Diwali and is expected to have a price tag of Rs 5 lakh which will be the USP of this Mahindra car. Also, this will mark Mahindra’s foray into the compact SUV segment. Following this compact SUV, Mahindra is expected to launch the compact version of Mahindra Verito which is also said to be in the making.  A close look at the camouflaged version reveals that the compact SUV has less than four meter length and is an exact replica of the existing model of Xylo from the front as well as sides. However, the rear gets a treatment as its length has been shortened and kept under four meter to qualify it for the tax rebate.
