Mahindra 2-Wheelers introduces Gusto Special Edition within the successful Gusto model range, well in time for the upcoming Diwali season.
The Gusto Special Edition is available only in the VX variant, while the cheaper HX and DX variants are being offered with these dual-tone colour schemes. Apart from the new dual paint schemes, there aren’t any mechanical or functional changes to the scooter. However, the Gusto special edition additionally gets free insurance as part of the festive season offer.
The Mahindra Gusto VX Special Edition is being offered at Rs 49,350/- while the regular VX trim is priced at Rs 48,850/- that is premium of Rs 500/- (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The Gusto is one of the best products offered by Mahindra with many car-like features. The Gusto is facing stiff competition with the market leaders such as Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter.
Refresher: Mahindra Gusto is powered by a 109.6 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled all aluminium M-TEC engine that develops 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm. The scooter comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and telescopic front suspension. The Gusto claims a mileage of 63.5kmpl and has a top speed around 90kmph. It takes between 11-13 seconds to do a sprint from 0-60kmph in standard conditions.
