The leader in the Indian pick-up segment, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. launched the new Big Bolero Pik-up priced at Rs. 6.30 lakh (BS-IV, ex-showroom Pune) and Rs. 6.15 lakh (BS-III, ex-showroom Pune).
The Big Bolero Pik-up promises to raise the benchmark in the category with its class-leading cargo body length of 9 feet (2765 mm) and is available in two variants with different payload capacities – 1,250 kg and 1,500 kg. It boasts of a big ergonomically designed cabin, stylish interiors and power steering as a standard feature across all variants, making it an ideal work companion for customers.
Noteworthy features include power steering, bucket seats with sliders, recliners and headrests, a magazine pocket, mobile holder and charging point. Further, it will be on-sale in a CBC (Cowl Body Chassis) variant, which will help customers to build cargo bodies according to their needs. These include water tankers, refrigerated pickups, generator van, poultry vans, etc…
It is powered by Mahindra’s trusted and proven 2.5-litre MDI diesel engine that develops 62 BHP @ 3,200 rpm in the BS-III variant and 70 BHP @ 3,200 rpm in the BS-IV variant. The BS-III variant comes with a 3-year, unlimited km warranty, while the BS-IV variant gets a 1-year, unlimited km warranty.
A 4-wheel-drive variant is speculated to be launched soon, while a CNG model is also available.
