Honda-Brio-Bookings-Open

Honda SIEL Cars India has reopened the booking orders for its entry level hatchback car Honda Brio. The booking order can be placed at any of the Honda dealerships across the nation. A week ago Honda has commenced the production of Brio at its manufacturing plants. And in order to clear the backlog of earlier bookings of it along with another hatchback Honda Jazz, the company was working in two shifts. Honda claims to clear all the bookings by March and will pull down the waiting periods as well.

Meanwhile, test drives for the Brio are now available at all Honda dealerships and prospective buyers may take the car out for a spin, it is priced reasonably at INR 3.95 Lakh to INR 5.10 Lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). The Honda Brio is offered with a peppy 1.2L petrol engine, which generates around 89 bhp of max power along with 109 Nm of peak torque, while the engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Late last year, the company had suspended the bookings for Brio and Jazz due to shortage of vital components from its flood ridden Thailand component manufacturing units. After which it started sourcing those important spares from its facilities in Japan and China, and now with the same it has successfully overcome the barrier.
