Honda Jazz Racing Concept is a study model which has been prepared by the R&D team in India – it aims to bring the racing DNA of Honda closer to the general public.

To add very sporty appeal to the Jazz, it gets a sporty body kit, towing handle in the front bumper, red stripe vinyl, Bridgestone Potenza racing tires shodding 5-spoke alloy rims, front splitter, side extensions, carbon fiber accents, fixed rear wing, and a single pipe exhaust tip. On the inside, the Jazz Racing Concept gets a roll cage and racing seats.

Built for attraction, the power-train details are not revealed. The Jazz on-sale comes with the 1.5-liter i-DTEC engine producing 99 bhp paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the petrol counterpart has a 1.2-liter i-VTEC unit producing 90 bhp mated to a 5-speed manual with an optional CVT automatic.

Honda’s flagship sedan, Honda Accord was unveiled today at the 2016 Auto Expo. The company plans to further strengthen its sedan line-up in India and re-introduce the Honda Accord later this year.

The Accord enjoys a strong legacy in premium sedan segment in India, with the earlier generations making a strong foothold in the market. The Accord on display, now in its 9th generation, boasts itself as an exhilarating, refined and advanced sedan with sporty looks, highly fuel efficient powertrain and loaded with features.

Under the hood, the Accord Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-litre 16-valve i-VTEC petrol engine that’s mated to the electric motor which derives power from the on-board lithium-ion battery. The petrol unit churns out 141bhp, but the system’s combined output is a 196bhp with a generous 306Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a electronic CVT gearbox.
