Honda CBR 150R all-set to launch next month in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is preparing the launch of their most awaited new sports bike CBR 150R in India. The launch is scheduled for next month. This bike will be launched in competition with KTM Duke 200, a subsidiary brand of Bajaj Auto. Honda CBR 150R is priced at Rs. 115,000 in competition with KTM Duke selling at Rs. 117,000. The bike will also give a tough competition to Yamaha R15 sports bike, which after recent facelift sells at Rs. 107,000(All ex-showroom price).

Last month, HMSI displayed Honda CBR 150R in Auto Expo held at Delhi. The company hasn’t revealed any details regarding the price of the bike in the Auto Expo. The bike is fully manufactured in India and is one of the most awaited bike by sports bike lovers. The company is expecting the sales of more than 3500 units per month after the launch.

It  is powered via DOHC 4-valve, single-cylinder 150 cc water-cooled engine with balance shaft delivering 17.6 bhp power along with 12.6 Nm torque. The bike is integrated with six-speed manual transmission. The bike is provided with telescopic fork suspension in front and powerful monoshock swingarm in rear. Keeping in account, the incredible pick up, the bike is provided with disc brakes at both front and rear wheels.

Further, the bike comes with digital speedometer and fuel gauge, the tacho-meter is analog. This bike will be the third launch of this year by the company. The facelifted Dio with new engine was launched this month and the facelifted version of Honda CBR 250R is scheduled to launch by the end of this month.
