India’s leading two-wheeler maker, Hero Motocorp is all-set to launch its new 110cc motorcycle, the Passion XPro in our bike market. Now according to BusinessStandard, the company has already dispatched the new 110cc Passion X-pro to the dealerships and expects it to be launched by Diwali (sometime in next-week). The Passion X-Pro will directly compete with the likes of Suzuki Hayate 110, Honda Dream Yuga 110 and CB Twister.
Like the recently launched Ignitor and Maestro, the Passion X-Pro is based on current Honda products and gets the re-tuned version of the same engine that powers the Honda CB Twister/Dream Yuga 110. The 110cc, single cylinder, four stroke engine that delivers a peak power of 9 Bhp and a peak torque of 9 Nm, is the first ever vertically inclined engine that Hero MotoCorp will use in its commuter motorcycle range.
The Passion X-Pro features a self start, maintenance free battery, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, optional front disc brake and wider seats. The Passion X Pro will be available in 6 colour options compared to the existing 5 colour options. The official price has not been revealed as yet, we expect it to be priced at Rs. 52,000 on-road Delhi.
