Hero MotoCorp launches new 2014 Glamour and Glamour FI in India

Hero MotoCorp is updating its entire range of two wheelers, it started-off with the Splendor, which has been launched in its iSmart avatar. Than the company launched refreshed version of Hero Pleasure last-month, now the company has launched its 2014 Glamour model in India at a starting price of Rs. 53,375 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

There changes to the 2014 Glamour can be described limited at best which include a new body graphics, a tweaked visor and headlights. The instrument cluster gets an analog speedometer with a digital readout that displays odometer, fuel gauge and the average fuel efficiency. Seating has also been modified which now looks more comfortable for pillion rider as well.

Under the skin, the 2014 Glamour comes powered by a 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine offering 124.7cc displacement and capable of 9 bhp at 7000 rpm and 10.35 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. Mileage stands at 60 kmpl in city conditions and 80 kmpl on the highway while fuel tank has a capacity of 13.6 liters. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is accomplished in 7.50 seconds while the Glamour has a top speed of 94 kmph.

The 2014 Glamour is available in three variants. The base variant of the 2014 Hero Glamour has been priced at Rs. 53,375/- and comes with drum brakes and self start as standard. The mid-variant with disc brakes and self start has been priced at Rs. 58,700/-. The Glamour FI on the other hand starts at a significant premium than the other variants and has been priced at Rs. 62,750/- (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

New body colours on offer are Black with vibrant orange, Black with tornado grey metallic, Black with frost blue metallic, Black with sports red and Candy blazing red. The 2014 Glamour competes with TVS Phoenix, Suzuki Slingshot and Honda Shine in its segment.
