GM India planning to launch its flagship model Chevrolet Camaro

The launch of Chevrolet marked General Motors” success in India. Now the company is planning to bring in the right hand version of its flagship model, Chevrolet Camaro in the country. The new Chevrolet Camaro is likely to be the top-end car of its Indian portfolio, which would certainly give GM India the much needed boost in the premium segment of Indian car market. By introducing the luxurious Camaro in India, it will help Chevrolet to go up a notch in the Indian car bazaar.

Meanwhile, General Motors India is also planning to bring in the face-lifted version of Chevrolet Captiva SUV by the end of March 2012, which would help the firm to boost its sales in the premium segment of the Indian car market. The refurbished Chevrolet Captiva was displayed at the Auto Expo 2012 as well. This new car by GM India will be powered with 2.2 litre of diesel engine and would be imported as CBU or Completely Built Unit from South Korea. Hence, hold your breath to witness the clash of the titans in the Indian car bazaar.

New Fiat Linea 2013 facelift production begins in Turkey, while new clear images emerged of facelifted Linea.  New Fiat Line has received a minor facelift which include a new front bumper, chrome slated grille, front lip spoiler, new alloy wheels, new rear bumper, new boot lid and new tail lights. On the interiors of the 2013 Fiat Linea only new colours are being used on the dashboard. Under the hood, The Linea is now powered by a 1.4-litre MultiAir petrol engine and the 1.3-litre Multijet II diesel engine. Both these engines belong to Fiat’s compact engine line-up and feature the best of technology, helping them return exceptional mileage and yet be environment friendly by less emission of CO2. The Multijet II engine gets a new injection management system, which offers upto 8 injection per cycle (the Multijet 1 offers only 5). This engine meets Euro V emission norms and produces 95 PS of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque.The 1.4-litre MultiAir engine is an award winning motor, which gives the vehicle increased power and torque output and reduced fuel consumption.
