Force One SUV – FrontView
Force Motors was already working to introduce new variants of Force One SUV in the past and today launched the same, without much anticipation from the customers in the Indian market. In addition to the existing version of Force One SUV which is now named as SX variant, Force Motors has today introduced two new variants i,e EX(Executive) base-variant and LX(Luxury) top-end variant into the sales market.
The SX variant has all the features of the EX variant and also has some of the features from the top-end LX variant, in other words the SX variant would be the mid-variant available in Force One SUV. The SX and LX variants has additional features such as LED DRL (Day time running light), driver seat height adjustment, ABS, reverse parking sensor, cruise control, alloy wheels, rear wash/wipe, defogger, remote central locking, roof rails and audio system which unfortunately would not be available in the base EX variant. Apart from this, the top-end LX variant adds All-Wheel-Drive system with limited slip differential to the package and comes with fatter 245/70 R16 tyres. Force One SUV is also featured with a new Moondust Silver exterior color-option.
Coming to the technical specifications, the entry-level EX variant is powered by a 2.6-litre BS3 diesel engine which produces a maximum power of 82 PS at a maximum torque of also does duty on the Gurkha 4X4 SUV and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, this motor is only BS III compliant and comes with only 2WD. The SX and LX variant would inherit the Mercedes derived 2.2-litre FMTECH diesel motor which produces a maximum power of 141PS at a maximum torque of 321 Nm. Apart form the 5 existing paint scheme, the new EX and SX variants of the One SUV gets a new Moondust Silver exterior paint-shade option. The new variants will be available at the showrooms from August 16.
