2013 Maruti Wagon-R facelift - FrontView

India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki has intentionally released the pictures of the 2013 Wagon-R facelift to create some buzz about the facelifted version of its popular tall boy hatch. This refreshed Wagon-R was first spotted by our good mates at OnCars.in on the Youtube version of a new TV commercial, which was aired in November-2012.

In the video the upcoming Wagon-R is seen with some minor cosmetic updates, that include an all-new grille and a new bumper with a different fog lamp housing treatment, and a larger central air dam. Rest of the car remains unchanged including rear styling. The interior too is expected to get minor updates, with additional features.

As far as engine is concerned, no changes are expected on the facelifted model. The 2013 Wagon R will feature the same 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre K-series petrol engine that produces 67 BHP of maximum power and 90 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Currently, the Wagon R comes with three options of petrol, CNG and LPG. The sources in the web reveal the diesel variant of Wagon-R, is likely to be launched in mid-2013.

2013 Wagon-R facelift is expected to be launched very soon in Indian market, probably by the end of this month.
