Conquest Evade SUV launched in India at Rs. 8.5 crore

Conquest Evade SUV - OutsideView

Canada-based Conquest Vehicles Inc., famous for fully armoured vehicles, has just launched its first unarmored SUV, the Evade. It takes many styling cues from the Conquest Knight XV fully armored SUV. Featuring new headlamps, hood scoop, wraparound taillights, redesigned grille and flared fenders, the Evade will be much lighter in weight than Conquest’s Knight XV, which is said to be the most luxurious armored vehicle in the world and the company’s flagship model.

Evade will be built on a Ford F550 Super Duty Chassis and its massive unarmored skin will be made from an aluminum-mild steel blend which is a big point as it is a whole lot lighter than the planet sized armoured Knight XV. The handles of the vehicle are made out of aluminium while other elements like the running board, steering wheel, hinges and key are stainless steel.

However the best bit is not this SUV’s looks and size but its interiors. The interiors of Conquest Evade are a mix of military style cues and 2+2 limousine-style seating with option of either a driver partition or retractable flat screen television. There will also be power windows, FLIR night vision camera systems in the front and rear, commercial grade air ride suspension, laptop trays and a third sunroof. Of course this SUV is highly customizable with many interior options.

The handcrafted Conquest Evade SUV is available with petrol and diesel powertrain options and a 4×4 system. This new product is for those people who don’t exactly need a fully armoured vehicle, but still require some sort of protection. Prices start from Rs. 8.5 crores including duties in India, which go up depending on the kind of ameneties you’re looking for in your non-armoured SUV. Magnus Cars is in charge of sales and distribution in India, so you know who to head to for all your armoured and unarmoured vehicle needs.

William Maizlin, President, Conquest Vehicles said -

“We wanted Evade to set a new standard for our company in terms of pushing the boundaries from engineering to design to incorporating new user experiences without compromising the integrity of some of the key highlight design features offered by our armored Knight XV. The result speaks for itself in terms of the final product and we couldn’t be happier.”
