New TVS Apache RTR 2012 launched in Chennai today at Rs.67,505 (ex showroom Delhi). Our team have already revealed most of the details earlier, but we would like to recall the updates like new headlamp clusters with LED pilot lamps and modified fuel tank in this vehicle. Although the mechanical parts remains the same. As we discussed earlier the new Apache RTR as disappointed us, the bike looks the same as current model with only minor modifications which is tough to take comparative positions to its closest rival new Pulsar 200 NS which has got more dynamic and sporty looks. But the new dual tone colour can add up some competition in its class. Latest updates also include a carbon-fibre look shroud for the digital instruments and a revised seat. We all know that the new Apache RTR as disappointed most of its fans who were expecting it to be more attractive than Pulsar 200 NS. What TVS really needs is to bring out an all new Apache to take on its modern and increasingly focused competition. The new TVS Apache RTR 160 is priced at Rs 67,505 (ex showroom Delhi), while the RTR 180 is priced at Rs 72,090 and the RTR 180 with ABS costs Rs 82,780.   Also see - Spied – Firstever clear images of new 2012 TVS Apache RTR
