After the launch of Classic 350 & Classic 500, Royal Enfield India has launched the Electra Twinspark to meet the regulations. With the introduction of the Electra Twinspark, Royal Enfield has taken another step towards modernising its range of motorcycles with the UCE family of engines.

Dilip Chabaria’s DC design unveiled an all-new sports car concept at the Auto Expo, called the DC Avanti. According to DC, the Avanti is India’s first-ever sports car.  The DC Avanti is a production version and not in concept stage. It was unveiled by the veteran actor of the Indian Film industry, Amitabh Bacchan. The Avanti was built at DC Design’s workshop at Pune. Production will start in 2013 and DC Design plans to make 300 units in the first 2 years. Bookings will start in February 2012 with deliveries starting late 2013. The new car christened Avanti, is rumoured to come with a price tag of Rs 30 lakhs. Powered by a 2.0-liter, Ford EcoBoost 4-cylinder motor. This VVT (variable valve timing)-equipped engine churns out 240bhp at 5500rpm and 37.3kgm of torque at 3500rpm. Its engine is also Euro-V compliant and with minor tweaking can also become Euro VI compliant.  The standard transmission choice is a six-speed manual unit, with a six-speed automatic on offer as an option. A new sports car DC Avanti developed by the domestic car designing company DC designs will soon be showcased at the Atuo Expo 2012,we have fresh images of the car with us.
