Bajaj Pulsar 135LS - FrontView

Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL), the leading Indian Two wheeler-maker, launched the youngest member in Bajaj Pulsar family upgraded Pulsar 135LS after such a long time. The changes in Pulsar 135 LS are limited  to double shade paint scheme, golden-silver shaded crank case and a slightly tweaked handle bars. There are no changes in mechanicals of the bike.

The upgrade was much needed since last time Pulsar 135LS was upgraded in July 2010. So naturally it is the right time to have a mild facelift for 135cc Pulsar. The most special thing is, you don’t need to pay extra for these upgrades as the price remain unchanged.

The face lifted version of Pulsar 135LS is currently available in two paint choices, Red and Black. The updated Pulsar 135 LS are available in an additional shade – Blue. All three shades now get a black painted tail end and extra graphics. Apart from this, Pulsar 135 LS has also got “Golden hue” finished engine case, which looks Royal on Pulsar series. Other than above said changes, New Pulsar 135 LS has an all black grab rails and clip on handle bars.

There are no changes made in engine and chassis department. The updated Pulsar 135 will continue to get current 135 cc engine still pumps out a healthy power figure of 13.5 PS @9000 RPM and a decent torque of 11.4 Nm@7500 RPM. It may be noted that 135LS is the first Pulsar to boast 4 valve/cyl engine layout, lightweight characteristic and a styling package that marks a departure from the traditional Pulsar design.

Pulsar 135 LS has been a performer in its class thanks to lack of competition. With this minor but an attractive update, we think Pulsar 135 LS will further reiterate its leadership in the 135cc segment.

Meanwhile company is expected to unveil a completely new Pulsar by first week of January 2012. So stay tuned for more updates.
