The Bajaj Pulsar is one of the bestselling sports bikes in the Indian market and Bajaj surely does want to live up to the expectation of its buyers. With ever increasing demands of its buyers Pulsar has evolved into the favorites of many riders, and yet it’s just the beginning.

There has already been a buzz around for the 375cc Pulsar which will be based on the KTM Duke 390 to be launched by end of 2013, to add to it Bajaj MD, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj confirmed a launch of sub 200cc Pulsar. The details of the sub 200cc Pulsar is yet unclear, but there are good chances that the bike could be based on the existing Pulsar 180 platform. The new sub 200 cc Pulsar is expected to be more fuel efficient and lighter in weight. The new sub 200cc is targeted to compete against the Japanese rivals since the existing Pulsar 150 and 180 fail in terms of the technology. The Bajaj-KTM partnership has helped both the companies in meeting their goals.

With these new Pulsar variants Bajaj is expecting to once again set the competition on fire. We can expect the launch of sub-200cc bike before the end of this year.
