Bajaj Auto as promised earlier, today launched 1 out of 6 upcoming Discover variants christened ‘Discover 125T’ in Chennai. Compared to Discover 125ST (ST for sports tourer), the new model 125T (T for tourer) features a long seat and nitrox twin shock absorbers, instead of slightly raised rear seat and Monoshock suspension. Also omits rear mud-flap and spots Discover 100T like rear mudguard. The new Discover 125T completes the range, and gives consumers a number of options in terms of price and performance points

The new Discover 125T is priced at Rs 57,070 for disc brake variant and Rs 54,022 for the drum version, while the top-end Discover 125ST is priced Rs 57,609 with disc brake (all prices mentioned here are of Ex-showroom Chennai) that is just Rs. 600 less than top-end variant, but paying additional Rs. 600 makes more sense. Like the Discover 125ST, The 125T is available in four attractive shades: Blue, Blue+Black, Red and Red+Black.

The features include sporty 5-speed transmission, gas-charged Nitrox suspension, petal disc brake, flicker-free DC headlamp, and electric start. Currently, Honda Shine holds majority of share in 125cc bike segment. Other rivals include Hero Moto Corp’s Super Splendour, Glamour, Ignitor and TVS Phoenix. Like the previous models, the Discover 125T too is launched in phased manner but first will be offered in South India.
