The German automaker Audi India has launched the new Audi A6 with a 2.0 TDI engine. In India Audi offers a total of four engine options in both petrol and diesel version for new A6. The new Audi A6 2.0 TDI is priced at Rs. 37,70,000/- (ex-showroom, Delhi)Audi A6 2.0 TDI will be available at Audi dealerships from October 2011.
Audi India got its brand new A6 2.0 TDI road tested in a coast-to-coast drive by a leading Auto magazine with an amazing 18.9 km/litre under real Indian road conditions, making it by far the most efficient business luxury limousine in India. This is possible due to use of Audi’s new lightweight and hybrid bodyshell technology known as “Audi ultra”.
“The new A6 2.0 TDI is a new benchmark globally and in India for sporty, yet efficient driving, paired with Audi’s progressive design. We achieved consumption levels with a 1585 kg weight car, which many smaller cars in India cannot achieve. With the arrival of this important model and the 2.0 TDi engine in India, we are confident that we might even increase our forecast for this year based on a strong response to the new A6,” Michael Perschke, Head – Audi India, said.
