Aston Martin V12 Zagato Unveiled

Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Road version)

After its debut at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza, there wasn’t a week we could go without hearing about the new Aston Martin V12 Zagato. However, things died out after Aston confirmed that the V12 Zagato will finally be entering production as a road car and today Aston Martin is giving us the first look at the production model that will debut in Frankfurt next month.

Only 150 units will be made when production starts in the second half of 2012 with prices starting at a whopping $525,000 (INR. 24,176,087.25).

“50 years on from the introduction of the iconic DB4GT Zagato, Aston Martin and Zagato have collaborated to create this modern interpretation which remains true to the focus of craftsmanship, performance and exclusivity which underpinned the original collaboration,” Aston Martin said in a statement.

Refresher – Power for the Aston Martin V12 Zagato comes from a 6.0 liter V12 engine making 510bhp and 58kgm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automated manual gearbox with auto shift manual/select shift manual. The rear-wheel-drive model features an all round independent double wishbone with fully adjustable Multimatic DSSV dampers.
