Apple iCar – Steve Job’s dream before he died

Apple iCar

The iPod, the iPad, the iPhone were all great inventions from Apple and the company’s late founder Steve Jobs. While all those inventions changed the way we interact with mobile devices, Jobs had other ideas.

If Steve Jobs was still alive, what more could he have done? According to J. Crew CEO and Apple board member Mickey Drexler, Jobs has also dreamed up plans to create, the iCar and also envisioned revamping the automotive industry. The insider info was given in an interview with Fast Company.

“He did not speak about what kind of power or transmission or even the type of car the iCar will be,” Mickey Drexler said. “Steve’s dream before he died was to design an iCar.”

While Jobs passed away in October of 2011, his ideas and dreams are still very much alive. Maybe one day we’ll see an iCar come to life.
