After the recent launch of Honda Amaze into the Indian market and its success, Honda has showcased a new MPV called Concept M, at the recently held 2013 Shanghai Auto Show which is mainly developed for the Chinese market. This new MPV might enter production as early as next year, while sales will begin soon thereafter. Other rival companies such as Toyota, Nissan and Hyundai are indicating their presence in the country by the launch of different concept vehicles.

The Concept M was designed at the Automobile R&D Center of Honda Japan but has been specifically developed for Chinese market, sadly it is not expected to be launched in Indian market. Instead, Honda India will bring a Brio and next generation Jazz based MPVs here, which will compete with the likes of the Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova. This new concept M MPV would inherit the front fascia from the Honda City and would also be equipped with comfortable and spacious cabin.

Honda Concept M looks fabulous with its futuristic styling and as is the norm these days, gets its fair share of LED fixtures. The car comes with a wide front grill and has stylish headlamps. The car has stylish black alloys that do a lot to attract attention away from the slightly bland exterior styling on the sides. The body lines run deeper from one door to the other and the mirrors are cleverly crafted too. However, it remains to be seen if these features would be carried over to the production model.

The other specifications of this concept vehicle have not been revealed.
