2017 KTM RC models scheduled for launch 19th January 2017.

As per the leaked brochure, the upcoming 2017 RC390 will get the cosmetic as well as mechanical updates, while the RC200 will get subtle changes. The 2017 RC200 will get a Euro 4-compliant engine, 12mm extra soft padding on the pillion seat, updated livery and will thus get new colour options.

Talking about the 2017 RC390, apart from the new body decals for the fuel tank and faring. It will come equipped with a larger 320 mm front disc brake and a new side-mounted upswept exhaust. The major mechanical update onboard the RC390 is the addition of ride-by-wire and slipper clutch tech.

The 2017 RC390 gets a new side-mounted canister exhaust system and a bigger 320 mm front disc.

The new exhaust system has resulted in a slight bump of 1 Nm in the torque figures, as the 2017 RC 390’s output would be rated at 43 BHP and 36 Nm. This has added 4 kgs to the RC390’s kerb weight, which now stands at 163.5 kg. The new updates will surely give a small price hike for both the 2017 KTM RC models.
