Cosmetic changes include re-designed front & rear bumpers with an ‘Infinity-motif’ grille design, round front fog lamps, smoked headlamps and a new rear windshield.

Key interior changes on the inside now include a 3-spoke steering wheel borrowed from the Zest, better quality inserts for the center console and new trims for the doors and seats. The major highlight on the GenX Nano is the addition of AMT gearbox which is marketed as ‘Easy Shift’. Powering the GenX Nano is the same rear-mounted 624cc twin cylinder petrol engine offering 38 PS power and 51 Nm torque and offered in both manual and AMT variants. The manual variant offers fuel efficiency of 23.90 kmpl while the AMT variant is good for 21.9 kmpl.

Step up the range and the Nano AMT GenX also receives the creep function wherein the vehicle can move forward on its own if foot is released from the accelerator or brake pedal. This function comes to the rescue in constricting city traffic situations while in Sports mode, a surge of power is experienced at the press of a button.
