2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG

We’re just couple of days away from Mercedes Benz unveiling the facelifted 2014 E-Class sedan to a global audience at Detroit 2013. Now the company has also unveiled its latest iteration of the hottest E-Class money can buy: the new 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Additionally, for the first time ever in the E-Class AMG’s history, the 2014 E63 AMG will receive Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

The 2014 E63 AMG will be finished with carbon fiber while other features include Bang & Olufsen BeoSound stereo system, Alcantara leather upholstery and 10 spoke AMG light alloy wheels are among a host of innovative and luxurious features seen on the E63 AMG. The E63 AMG gets AMG Ride Control for the adaptive suspension and the S-Model also comes with a differential lock for the rear axle.

Mercedes Benz will be offering 3 different editions of Mercedes Benz E63 AMG, all of which will possess a 5.5-litre V8 Biturbo engine though output will vary. The base model will have output of 557 hp with maximum torque of 720 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kph will be completed in just 4.2 seconds. The mid level model will be mated to an all-wheel-drivetrain with acceleration in 3.7 seconds while the top end model of Mercedes Benz E63 AMG 4MATIC S-Model will possess 585 hp power and 800 Nm torque with acceleration completed in 3.6 seconds.

We hope Mercedes India to show some sympathy in bringing the updated E-class to our market at the earliest.
